Avinu Films announces the film DIVINE BEAUTY (2018)

SAFI, MALTA, March 22, 2018 / — Avinu Films is pleased to announce the release of the film "Divine Beauty," a short docudrama based on the Passion of Our Lord, Jesus Christ, according to the Servant of God Luisa Piccarreta, the Daughter of the Kingdom of the Divine Will, and the Catholic visionary Barnabas Nwoye. It is the first Biblical film of its kind to be based on their published spiritual writings. Called "brilliant," "sublime," "truly a thing of beauty," and "a remarkable film with some very powerful images" by viewers during its pre-release screening, the film "Divine Beauty" features an international cast with the Maltese Reverend Colin Apap and Mariella Delia among others. It was shot on location throughout the Mediterranean islands of Malta and Gozo, and in the City of Jerusalem. Narrated by the veteran American broadcasters Timothy and Kathryn Capps, together with the up-and-coming Portuguese classical singer Maria Rocha, "Divine Beauty" was written by its female Maltese-American director and producer Marcelle Abela, with Mariella Delia as executive producer.

Abela is the only filmmaker in the history of Jerry Rudes's Cinemonde (NYC) to have two films accepted for screening. Her shorts have become official selections at various international film festivals, including the 2018 Academia Film Olomouc – 53rd International Festival of Science Documentary Films and the 2018 Voices From the Waters International Traveling Film Festival, both of which take place later this year. One of her shorts, Pillars of Creation, also starring Timothy Capps and co-produced with Mariella Delia, has become part of the official archives of the European Space Agency.

The music for "Divine Beauty", which is indexed on IMDb and Wikipedia, has been written by the award-winning Australian composer Peter Cavallo and the award-winning Russian-Canadian composer Yuri Sazonoff. Sound effects are the work of the American foley artist Jonathan Ontiveros and the British Broadcasting Corporation. Motion graphics and artwork were in the hands of the Maltese-American designer Antonia Harris. "Divine Beauty" can be viewed at its website where further information and stills are available.

Dr. Diane Corcoran of Corcoran Consulting to be Featured on CUTV News Radio

CHAPEL HILL, NORTH CAROLINA, UNITED STATES, March 21, 2018 / — The term near-death experience was first coined by Dr. Raymond Moody to describe the profound, metaphysical experiences shared by those who have survived impending death. These experiences encompass a variety of sensations, including detachment from the physical body, feelings of serenity, security, warmth and a bright, white light. What makes these experiences so interesting, however, is how universal they are and how often independent descriptions of these experiences align with one another.

Dr. Diane Corcoran first encountered near-death experiences as a young nurse during the Vietnam War. Today, Dr. Corcoran is the founder of the Corcoran Consulting, where she provides educational programs as well as counseling for near-death experiences.

According to Dr. Corcoran, a former president of the International Association for Near-Death Studies (IANDS), a near-death experience usually happens during a time of crisis or distress, which can be physical as well as psychological. A typical NDE is often characterized by a pattern of perceptions that transcend ordinary experiences.

“It's not a dream state,” explains Dr. Corcoran. “It's a profound psychological event, intensely emotional and personal and spiritually transformative.”

While Dr. Corcoran says there is no language to adequately describe these experiences, those who have had an NDE typically recall feeling a sense of peace and quiet. They see a brilliant light and when they walk into the light they report a sensation of being wrapped in unconditional love. In this world between worlds, all knowledge of nature, religion and health is available for you to understand. There is music but not music as we understand it, and colors we don't have here. Some describe a “life review,” the proverbial life flashing before your eyes. Some recall meeting their deceased loved ones.

After their experience, these individuals describe a sense of oneness with nature, an understanding that we're all one and all connected. They experience heightened perceptions of touch and taste and smell. They become more altruistic with expanded concepts of love; many become chaplains or work in healthcare. They become more creative and intuitive, with interests in topics they'd never been interested in before.

Finally, many individuals who have experienced an NDE are no longer afraid to die.

“One of the things one learns on the other side is that the answers to the great mysteries are actually quite simple,” says Dr. Corcoran. “We have to be more forgiving, more loving. That's it.”

Now Dr. Corcoran’s journey with NDEs has come full circle. She is currently raising funds to develop a program for the International Association of Near Death Studies ( to provide training on near death experiences for military health care providers and veterans.

“We have some research that shows that almost 50 percent of combat veterans have had an NDE,” says Dr. Corcoran. “They are already physically as well as psychologically traumatized. Then they have an NDE, which they don't dare tell anybody about. We have 24 veterans a day committing suicide and I believe a lot of them have had an NDE and could have benefited from having someone to listen to them, give them some resources. I think we could make a difference.”

CUTV News Radio will feature Dr. Diane Corcoran an interview with Jim Masters on March 23rd at 2pm EDT.

Inhumanity in the Name of Jesus: Catholic Dogma Which Led to the Holocaust also Led to the Cover-Up of Clergy Sex Abuse

Cover of the Kindle version of book

Cover from Book

New book argues that it is the history and magisterium of the Catholic Church which made the Holocaust possible and the cover-up of clergy sex abuse inevitable.

The DNA of the Catholic Church and its belief in its own infallibility didn't just make the cover-up of clergy abuse possible. It made it inevitable. Victims were regarded as collateral damage.”

— G.R. Pafumi

SPRING VALLEY, NEW YORK, USA, March 21, 2018 / — G.R. Pafumi has released the first of two volumes about sex abuse in the Catholic Church, Inhumanity in the Name of Jesus. Volume I: Pain and Suffering, Aftermath of the Catholic Church’s Belief in its Own Infallibility. With sex abuse accusations against major celebrities and public figures, such as Harvey Weinstein, Charlie Rose and Matt Lauer, Pafumi focused on victims abused by Catholic clergy. They paved the way for the #MeToo movement. Victims of Catholic clergy are no longer willing to remain silent about the abuse they suffered, sometimes decades ago. Pope Francis is currently dealing with the fallout from his trip to Chile, where he defended a bishop who covered for a clergy sex offender. The Pope accused the alleged victims of calumny even though he was given an eight-page letter from one of the victims. It seems the Pope lied. Why?

The Catholic Church, including the sex abuse crisis, is not easily understood without a consideration of the Church’s history. The cover-up of sex abuse was inevitable because of the Church's belief in its ecclesiastical infallibility and its long history of unchecked power. The Church believes it is never wrong because it has been guided by the Holy Spirit for nearly 2,000 years ago. The Holy Spirit would not allow the Church or its popes to make errors in its magisterium, i.e. teaching authority. Pafumi asks, “Where was Holy Spirit when the Jews were being persecuted and children sexually molested?” Since the first century, Jews have been identified by the Church as Christ killers. Jewish disdain is manifest in the Apostolic constitution Ineffabilis Deus (Ineffable-indescribable-God), a decree promulgated by Pope Pius IX in 1854. The Virgin Mary was claimed to be conceived without the stain of original sin. Her entire ancestry back to Adam needed to be immaculately conceived, since the Jewish faith is passed along through maternal parentage. By having an immaculately conceived heritage, Mary had no Jewish blood. It appears that the real purpose of this constitution was to de-Jewify Jesus by de-Jewifying his mother and her ancestry.

Since the second century, Church leaders recognized there was abuse of minors. But as recently as 2018, the pope himself became an abuse denier. One way to view the cover-ups of child abuse is unapologetic clericalism. Pope Francis called accusations against a Chilean Bishop [Juan Barros] who covered up sex abuse, “all calumny.” Yet the Pope was given an eight-page letter from a Chilean victim in April 2015, shortly after the elevation of Barros to bishop. Francis steadfastly refused to rescind that appointment despite objections from Chilean clergy. Pope Francis implicitly invoked the medieval concept of privilegium fori, i.e. only the Church can judge itself. Privilegium fori seems to be the reason why there is no mandatory reporting requirement. Clergy supervisors, mainly bishops, are not required by the Church to turn over clergy offenders to the civil authorities unless required by local civil law. The Church would rather protect offenders instead of ridding itself of this cancer, i.e. child molesters in its midst. The promotion of Bishop Barros in Chile clearly shows that this attitude goes all the up to the pope.

The Church opposes sex abuse laws which include a look-back period for victims abused years or decades ago. When Guam enacted legislation in 2016 eliminating the statute of limitations for past sex crimes against children, the Church challenged the constitutionality of the law as a violation of ex-post facto provisions in the U.S. Constitution. The State of New York has failed to pass the Child Victims Act for more than a decade, in part due to lobbying by the Church. Expanding or eliminating the statute of limitations is less about protecting kids from Catholic clergy now and in the future (at least in the developed countries). It is more about making restitution to the people who are still in pain from abuse of decades past.

The Church is still muddled in the Counter-Reformation, which began shortly after the Protestant and Anglican Reformations of the early and mid 16th century. Now the Counter-Reformation is less about fighting the Protestants and more about fighting modernity. The Church's rejection of modernity is clearly seen in its views about birth control, abortion, divorce, and females in the priesthood. The misogyny of the Church and belief in its own infallibility makes it think it can interfere with the right to choose for women who are not even Catholic. The Church’s view in its infallibility limits its ability to change its mind or alter its principles to adopt to changing social mores. It was widely believed that Pope Paul VI would allow women to use birth control after “The Pill” was approved by the FDA in 1960. Instead, Paul VI limited birth control to the “rhythm method” or abstinence. In 1968, Paul VI chose to sustain the precedent set about birth control in an encyclical issued by Pope Pius XI in 1930.

This book will explore the history of the Church from the first century until modern times. It will describe how the marriage of the Christian Church and state in the fourth century changed the course of Western history. This will help the reader understand why the cover-up of clergy abuse of children has become a worldwide phenomenon, where victims are treated as nothing more than collateral damage. Without new legislation and better law enforcement in the developed countries, kids would likely still be abused in large numbers by Catholic clergy. Sadly, they still are being abused in Africa, the Philippines, and other less-developed countries where the Church wields significant influence. Pafumi concludes, "The Church may well be a dinosaur on its way to extinction." Like a dinosaur, it has failed to adapt to a changing environment.

AMCD Calls on Trump Administration and Prince Salman to Increase Pressure on Iran

Iran's Propaganda Machine is in Full Swing

WASHINGTON, DC, USA, March 20, 2018 / — The American Mideast Coalition for Democracy wants the Trump administration to increase pressure on Iran, not to decrease it as Philippe Nassif, executive director of In Defense of Christians in the Middle East (IDC) is advocating. Writing in The Hill, Nassif argues that the US should pressure Saudi Arabia’s visiting crown Prince, Mohammed bin Salman, to stop fighting against the Iran-backed Houthis in Yemen.

Using Iranian weaponry, the Houthis have attacked on a US Destroyer, harassed and attacked Saudi, Emirati and other merchant ships, and have launched Iran-supplied missiles into Saudi Arabia proper, aimed directly at their civilian airport in Riyadh – a clear act of terrorism.

AMCD believes the correct response to Iran’s aggression in Yemen is to increase military pressure so that Iran must stretch its resources in Yemen at the same time it is deeply involved in Syria, thereby weakening the Islamic Republic overall. Prince Salman is proving to be an aggressive reformer seeking to bring Saudi Arabia into the modern world. He should be applauded and supported for his efforts to loosen the onerous restrictions on women in particular. Iran, on the other hand, is regressing and becoming ever more strictly Islamist as evident by its mass arrests of women who were peacefully protesting the government by merely removing their headscarves.

“Nassif has written smart pro-Iranian propaganda piece to advocate that the US pressure the Arab Coalition to quit Yemen and legitimize Iran’s role as a negotiator,” said AMCD Co-Director, Tom Harb. “Worse it is written by a group said to be defending Christians. There are no Christians in Yemen but there is an Iranian backed NGO in Washington DC that is used by Teheran to defend its interests in the region. Unfortunately, IDC is revealing itself to be an Iranian tool.”

“Where are the IDC’s recommendations for the Mullahs and Hezbollah who continue to terrorize their own people and crush any who stand in their way?” asked AMCD President John Hajjar. “It was Iranian interference that has nurtured and prolonged the conflict in Yemen. Iranian aggression must not be rewarded.”

We urge the President to support reform in the Middle East, not to strengthen its most regressive regime.

Mid-term Report Card on Sri Lanka’s Implementation of its Commitments to UN Human Rights Council: TGTE

TGTE has chosen to do an assessment of the level to which those 25 commitments undertaken by Sri Lanka have been implemented. Five grading system has been used

GENEVA, SWITZERLAND, March 20, 2018 / —

In September 2015, the UN Human Rights Council (UNHRC) passed by consensus Resolution No.30/1 co-sponsored by Sri Lanka itself, and giving 2 years for Sri Lanka to implement the 25 commitments it undertook to address grave charges of war crimes and crimes against humanity by State forces. In 2017, Sri Lanka and the UNHRC reaffirmed those commitments in Resolution No. 34/1 and Sri Lanka was given an extension of further 2 years to fulfill international expectations. One year has now passed.

Transnational Government of Tamil Eelam (TGTE) has chosen to do an assessment of the level to which those 25 commitments undertaken by Sri Lanka have been implemented.

The following five grading system has been used:

P – Pass.
P(d) – Pass of dubious value.
F – Fail.
F(c) – Failed due to Cunning.
F(a) – Failed Atrociously.

Out of the 25 commitments: One commitment merited a P, Three commitments merited P(d), Nine commitments merited straight F, Two merited F(c), and Ten commitments received an atrocious F(a).

Below, please find the Link to the Report Card.

The following was added as a footnote to the Mid-term Report card:

The reason why Sri Lanka bagged such a failure in its Mid-Term Report Card is not due to lack of capacity, but due to the fact that the Sri Lankan State is not ethnically neutral. It is the cultural warhead of Sinhala Buddhist chauvinism, with the judicial principle that the accused cannot be a judge being seriously violated (See and a deep sense of impunity prevailing for a long time in the country. A cunning and dubious behavior has been the main strategy of Sri Lanka in dealing with international pressure.

Staying in the same class [UN Human Rights Council – UNHRC] is not going to improve Sri Lanka’s commitment to Transitional Justice. We believe the time has come to send the failed/disgruntled student to the correction center [International Criminal Court-ICC], so it gets to learn more about ethnic neutrality, accountability, remedial justice, integrity, empathy and genuine remorse for wrongs committed.

Echoing the words of the former U.S. War Crimes Ambassador, Stephen Rapp, made in Geneva on 12 March, 2018, we say “Impunity Risks Creating Further and Further Violence” as vividly demonstrated in the past two weeks of anti-Muslim violence in Sri Lanka."

Impunity is threat to peace and security.

Denise Lescano of Spirit Works, Inc. to be Featured on CUTV News Radio

BONITA SPRINGS, FLORIDA, UNITED STATES, March 19, 2018 / — Denise Lescano is recognized as a psychic medium, medical intuitive, intuitive consultant, healer, teacher and author. She stresses that all mediums are psychics, but that not all psychics are mediums. She has a rare gift for communicating with persons who are no longer living on this plane; a gift that ranks her as one of the world’s leading experts on afterlife communication.

Denise runs a company that incorporates all her work in media, publishing, psychic consulting services, and her volunteer efforts, known collectively as Spirit Works, Inc.. Denise and her incredible readings were also featured in Josie Varga’s acclaimed book Visits from Heaven.

Denise has been tested and endorsed by several authorities, and was hand-selected to participate in a data collection scientific research project that is bridging the gap between science and spirituality. The PhDs running the Afterlife Data project monitor her readings, track evidence, and affirm facts about death, dying, and proof of heaven. The scientists (and science doesn’t lie) rate Denise’s accuracy a staggering 88 to 92 percent.

It’s this breadth of talent and level of competence, plus the type of professionals that Denise chooses to support as a medium, that make her nearly peerless. She truly is, as the title of her 2010 book says, The Messenger–and she has some very interesting and significant communications to relay.

Denise is the FIRST and ONLY Psychic Medium to work directly with Grief and Addiction recovery counselors in grief and addiction recovery support groups. Since 2005, she’s used her abilities for very noble purposes. She worked with The Collier County State Attorney’s Office, Grief Counselors, Victim Advocacy Centers, non-profits like MADD and AA, Federal and local Law Enforcement authorities and the Military. She consults on investigations and helps solve crimes, particularly missing persons or homicides. Denise also brings closure to families who lost a loved one to suicide, sudden or accidental death. She pinpoints the source of disease and provides detailed information for doctors. In recovery groups, Denise communicates with the deceased, with a counselor present, so the information received can be processed and assimilated into the treatment.

Denise is also often hired to resolve hauntings and offers readings at her Office in Naples, FL, or by phone or Skype. Sometimes it’s traditional psychic readings—like what might be in store for love, family and career. She has a BS in Communications with a minor in the Social Sciences and world religions. This knowledge, along with her intuitive knowing, make her a dynamic media personality, so be sure to tune in.

She will discuss the Psychic and Medium Certification training she created (and teaches) in the US and in Japan, and her participation in the Afterlife Data Project, called “Voices Across the Veil”–a scientific research study she has been involved in for the last 3 years. Denise believes science has long looked upon life after death with skepticism. Finally, change is happening, and she is enthused to be one of the ground-breakers.

Jessica Montañez of The Holistic Being to be Featured on CUTV News Radio

MINOT, MAINE, UNITED STATES, March 19, 2018 / — Jessica Montañez’s goal has always been to deepen and strengthen the connection between animals and people.

Montañez is an animal communicator, healer, spiritual and holistic wellness coach and the founder of The Holistic Being, where she offers holistic and spiritual well-being services for animals and their people.

“This work is about giving the animal a voice,” says Montañez. “For me, it’s a way to help animals live the best possible life. If their owners and their handlers and their veterinarians can really understand them, their life is going to be better. You want to be able to understand them and honor them the same way you would a family member.”

According to Montañez, communicating with animals is something we do naturally when we're children. It's not until we learn how to talk that we discover animals cannot talk back to us. Montañez discovered her gift at an early age when a local equine veterinarian recognized her intuitive ability to share the thoughts, emotions, energy, and physical sensations that the horses were experiencing. Over the years she continued to hone those skills and pursue training in various holistic healing modalities.

Montañez works remotely with animals–dogs, cats, horses, birds and even a few reptiles–all over the world, communicating telepathically with the animal.

“I do my work through meditation, so it's dialing in and being on the same channel with the animal, so I can receive messages, sensations and imagery,” explains Montañez. “I explain in great detail everything that I see and capture. It’s like reading a really beautiful story about your animal while also getting the answers you need to understand your animal companion on a deeper level, including gaining clarity on their behaviors, desires, and symptoms.”

And because animals are natural sponges and empaths, they are our greatest teachers. They can show us what's going on inside of us through their behaviors and actions.”

“I’m proud of the understanding I can bring,” says Montañez. “For me, what keeps me doing this work is knowing the difference it's made in their lives and in their pets' lives.”

CUTV News Radio will feature Jessica Montañez in an interview with Doug Llewelyn on March 20th at 11am EST.
