Evangelization? Now There's a Chatbot for That

Catholic Publisher Creates World's First Evangelizing AI

We hope it is a fun and easy way to share stories of hope, trust, love and faith with loved ones, friends, and acquaintances.”

— Jason Deal

NEW YORK, NEW YORK, UNITED STATES, May 26, 2017 /EINPresswire.com/ — It is perhaps not popularly known that the father of the Big Bang Theory was a Catholic priest named Georges Lemaître, or that an Ohio nun named Sister Ignatia Gavin developed the first hospital treatment center for alcohol and substance abuse, but Catholics have a habit of innovation, except (perhaps ironically) in the field of evangelization, where they often seem downright bashful when compared to your average smoothie enthusiast. One Catholic organization, however, is ready to change that perception. Aleteia, the global Catholic website that launched PopeEmoji during Pope Francis’ 2015 visit to the United States, has launched an evangelizing chatbot, and he’s got quite the personality.

“All Christians are called to share our faith, but it’s not easy for most,” said Jesus Colina, Global Editor at Aleteia.org. “Unless you are able to offer something that you know will be welcome, evangelization can quickly become uncomfortable and leave people feeling intruded upon, instead of inspired.” Aleteia’s solution to this challenge is an intelligence software agent that recommends articles and stories based on need. Accessing Aleteia.org’s 5-years-deep archive of content, the chatbot — nicknamed ePaul after the evangelizing apostle — asks a few questions about the person and situation one is trying to address, and then suggests articles that it thinks will be relevant and helpful.

ePaul, who responds to users with a conversational and understanding voice, lives on Aleteia.org and within Facebook Messenger and draws from a curated database of shareable content. “He’s lively,” says Colina, “but he has a serious job: to help people find a way to say ‘I am aware, I care, and so does God.’”
Commissioned by Aleteia.org in an effort to support the Roman Catholic Church’s World Communications Day Sunday, May 28th, the chat bot was designed to answer Pope Francis’ call to communicate hope and trust in our time.

“As far as we know, ePaul is the world’s first evangelizing chatbot, ” said Jason Deal, Aleteia’s EVP of Strategy and Marketing. “We hope it is a fun and easy way to share stories of hope, trust, love and faith with loved ones, friends, and acquaintances.”

Many questions in the AMDuat, found between Amistad, Jerusalem, and YAD?

Announcing the discovery of a hidden message from God all over your everything.

Let there be light”

— Adam

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL, UNITED STATES, May 25, 2017 /EINPresswire.com/ — In the living manifestation of the Egyptian book of the Underworld–the AMDuat–songs secretly asking the question "Am I saint AD?" begin to tie together a two-letter key to the Rock of Heaven that reads in Hebrew "Shaddai" and with the Eye of Ra (the focus of the Egyptian book) "see how AD da eye." Starkly contrasted from the key "artificial intelligence" that Adonai explains is "Adam Dobrin" expounding "on," we stand at the foot of a Revelation that this very auspicious time in the history of humanity has been walked before, and today we have guidance from above coming to us from the likes of Mr. Anderson… both of The Matrix and the novel Feed.

Yesterday's question "Who-ah," answered through Dr. Seuss, Dr. Who, and now the ineffable name of God in light of the Egyptian "Yahu," as … Ya-who-ah? The Hebrew name for Christ echoes "Yes, hua?" and for reasons that will become clearer and clearer, the C.AD Card of Jean Luc shows that seeing my name is a key to why "by no other" does our worlds secret message from God begin to be unlocked.

Today's question is "J er the USA the m" ess…ianic… message that brings about the discussion at the heart of the word "wisdom," about this immaculately conceived transition out of darkness and into the light of day. Reading backwards, while we are still pondering "why A.D." is a bright connection to the Hebrew word for the Hand of God; we are just shy of "day."

At the year ADIB and Christ of Pursuit of Happiness and … the name of our timeline we have approached "walking on water" and are at the Horizon. Upon reading the name of the city of Dendera and its Holy message of Revelation in the temple of Ha'thor… the Den of Ra is lit, along with every word and every wick.

Lots of hidden messages in nearly every single name, and then every word starts a cascade of enlightenment that bridges the gap between a number of references to this hidden language that tie rattling a rod to the taming of "Spanglishrew" all the way to King's Langoliers… not outliers–we'll see; and even the character Cypher in the Matrix … whose depiction of the hidden code sheds some light on how "The Matrix" movie is part of the answer to that question…. what is the Matrix?

Proof of design is a good beginning answer, and the purpose of design to focus our attention on just how important this time period is in the development of humanity… this place where Neo's words "I know kung fu" are juxtaposed with a kindling of understanding at just how powerful the technology behind that learning experience is… so powerful that it was able to hide the keys of "Anu" and "Eve" from the entire world … now seeing that each and every one of our names has a hidden connection to the unsealing of religion, to seeing the book of Names is Exodus and that freedom itself depends largely on the dissemination and understanding of this message that turns out to be a big part of everything we are and do.

With Holy Purpose, the Matrix's message becomes clearer as we link the "rod" of Christ to names like Rodney King and Roddenberry; showing us with more clarity how the technologies of Heaven might be used in order to help us build a better world.

Rev. Linda M. Martin of the Dove of Light Healing Ministry to be Featured on CUTV News Radio

We have to help ourselves come into a place of balance and alignment to create the life we were created to live. That requires healing.”

— Rev. Linda M. Martin

BELLE VERNON, PENNSYLVANIA, UNITED STATES, May 22, 2017 /EINPresswire.com/ — God is an energy that we all have within us. It’s the energy of creation and the energy of love. You can feel it if you allow yourself to open your heart and connect with it. But first you have to trust in your heart. We are all Spiritual beings having a physical experience.

Linda M. Martin is the founder of Dove of Light Healing Ministry, where she offers individual healing and counseling sessions in person or by phone as well as spiritual workshops.

“I’m a minister and a spiritual healer,” says Rev. Martin. “When I see clients, I give them a lot of options to help them get in touch with their essence of spirit."

Often times, people are not in tune with their spiritual self. They live through their human energy, their egoic energy
Rev. Martin believes that when we come into the awareness of our own human egoic energy, we can begin the healing process. This will allow us to hear the voice of our Spirit within and truly begin to live the life we were created to live.

“Ministry is about offering your services and love,” says Rev. Martin. “There’s a universal connection that we all share. Working with people is about tapping into that awareness. It’s about living through the bigger picture. We have to help ourselves come into a place of balance and alignment to create the life we were created to live. That requires healing.”

Rev. Martin believes God’s energy is not an entity outside of ourselves. It’s an energy of love that lives within us. We must come to believe we are enough, just as we are.

“You can see their faces light up and they look younger and feel at peace,” says Rev. Martin of her clients. “They immediately feel more at peace and balanced, more focused and connected, and ready to do what they need to do.

“Our future is what we create. We can create the life we want to live by how we are applying ourselves to our lives in the present moment. When we choose to live through love we can create a future of love and harmony and connectedness. When we send love into the world we assist others to find a way to create a collective future of love.”

CUTV News Radio will feature Rev. Linda M. Martin in an interview with Doug Llewelyn on May 24th at 1pm EDT.

Episcopal Divinity School to Affiliate with Union Theological Seminary

The Rev. Kelly Brown Douglas, Scholar, and Racial Justice Activist Named EDS’s New Dean

CAMBRIDGE, MA, UNITED STATES, May 19, 2017 /EINPresswire.com/ — Episcopal Divinity School (EDS) and Union Theological Seminary today announced that they have signed an agreement that will allow EDS to continue as an Episcopal seminary through a collaboration with Union at its campus in New York City beginning in the fall of 2018.

“We had three goals when we began to plan this news phase in EDS’s life,” said the Rev. Dr. Gary Hall, chair of the EDS board. “We wanted to continue providing Episcopal theological education within an accredited, degree-granting program, deepen our historic commitment to gospel-centered justice, and provide financial strength and stability for EDS’s future. Today, I am delighted to say that we have achieved all three.”

“This is an historic moment,” said Rev. Dr. Serene Jones, President of the Union Faculty and Johnston Family Professor for Religion and Democracy. “We are honored that EDS has chosen to partner with us and are certain that the stewardship of our deepest commitments will be fulfilled in the years ahead.”

EDS appointed the Rev. Dr. Kelly Brown Douglas, Susan D. Morgan Professor of Religion at Goucher College in Maryland and canon theologian at Washington National Cathedral, as the first dean of EDS at Union. Douglas will also join the Union faculty as a professor. She is the author of many articles and five books, including “Stand Your Ground: Black Bodies and the Justice of God,” which was written in response to the murder of Trayvon Martin.

“Kelly Brown Douglas is one of the most distinguished religious thinkers, teachers, ministers, and activists in the nation,” Jones said. “We are confident that Union’s longstanding commitment to both the Gospel and social justice will be strengthened and enhanced under her leadership.”

Ordained as an Episcopal priest in 1983, Douglas holds a master’s degree in theology and a Ph.D. in systematic theology from Union. Her academic work focuses on womanist theology, sexuality, and the black church, and she is a sought-after speaker and author on issues of racial justice and theology.

“Kelly is an Episcopal Church leader and an eminent scholar—and she is a daughter of Union,” Hall said. “Working together, EDS and Union aim to advance the causes of social justice and theology in the world and Kelly is the ideal leader for this new venture."

“I am excited for the challenge,” Douglas said. “What I am really happy about for the wider EDS community, is that this isn’t the typical bad news of a small seminary closing. This is the news that this place believed enough in its mission that it went out and found a way to carry that mission forward in a viable fashion, and found a way for the mission to grow. EDS is going to continue. The EDS community has found the platform to do that, and they have found a partner in Union that shares their mission. I feel privileged to be a part of this next chapter in EDS's life.”

Beginning in 2018, students who enroll in the EDS program at Union will earn graduate degrees from Union and also fulfill requirements for ordination in the Episcopal Church. In addition to Douglas, EDS will hire a professor of Anglican studies to join the four Episcopal priests currently on Union’s faculty.

“I look forward to the amazing possibilities that will be brought forth through this affiliation,” said Union’s Board Chair Wolcott B. Dunham, Jr. “Our work together will surely expand the ways we serve the church and the world.” A life-long Episcopalian, Dunham is also senior warden of St. James’ Episcopal Church in the City of New York and a former trustee of the Episcopal Diocese of New York.

EDS plans to purchase a floor in a new building being constructed at Union that will house offices, residential space for the dean, and other facilities. The EDS campus in Cambridge will be sold after operations there cease in July, and the proceeds will be added to the school’s endowment, currently valued at $53 million.

The EDS board has voted to cap spending at four percent of its endowment once expenses associated with the move to Union are paid. “We are in this for the long haul,” said Bonnie Anderson, vice chair of the EDS board. “Enshrining our commitment to sensible, sustainable spending in our affiliation agreement was important to us.”

EDS alums will enjoy the same library and campus privileges accorded to Union alums. The EDS library and archives will be reviewed by representatives from both schools and Union will accept items that do not duplicate its own holdings. The Burke Library at Union, part of Columbia University’s library system, is one of the largest theological libraries in North America with holdings of more than 700,000 items.

The initial term of the EDS-Union affiliation agreement is eleven years, and both schools have the option to agree to extensions beyond that time. EDS will remain its own legal entity with its own board of trustees.

The two seminaries began negotiations in February after Union was chosen from among nine potential partners who expressed interest in an alliance with EDS. The EDS board, spurred by financial challenges that were depleting the school’s endowment, voted in 2016 to cease granting degrees in May 2017 and to explore options for EDS’s future.

EDS has adopted a generous severance plan for its faculty and staff. All students who did not complete their degrees this month are being “taught out” at other seminaries with EDS’s financial support so as to avoid additional costs.

Empowered by groundbreaking inquiry aligned with practical realism and a bias for action, Union is charting a profound new course for enduring social change. Union’s graduates stand out wherever they serve, practicing their vocations with courage and perseverance, and speaking clearly and acting boldly on behalf of social justice in all of its forms.

About Episcopal Divinity School
Episcopal Divinity School in Cambridge, Massachusetts, was formed in 1974 by the merger of Philadelphia Divinity School (1857) and Episcopal Theological School (1867). For more than 40 years, EDS has offered a bold and expansive vision of inclusion and social justice in the service of preparing students to lead faith communities.

In July 2016, the EDS Board of Trustees voted to cease granting degrees in May 2017 and to explore options for EDS’s future that would carry on the seminary’s historic mission, continue accredited degree-granting theological education, and provide financial strength and stability for EDS’s future. Science and Religion Are Both Two Sides of the Same Coin.

Know the Level of Your brain You Are Living From.

Know and Harness the Difference Between Your Brain and Mind.

Instead of tasting wisdom in old age live it up ASAP.

Why wait for old age to taste pure life when you can do it now.

Wisdom power is emotional health power.

Emotionally Healthy Brain Generates Emotional Intelligence.

Religion is telling us to become wisdom; while science is trying to know, understand and teach emotional intelligence. They are both trying to make man wise.

RIDGEFIELD PARK, NEW JERSEY, UNITED STATES, May 19, 2017 /EINPresswire.com/ — In science, every quest begins with a question mark. In religion, it is already laid out as law. But if we examine the religion then we can see that religion’s goal is the manifestation of the divine soul. In science, this domain is still fuzzy though the purpose of the mind sciences is now becoming the actualization of the full humanness potential; the development of emotional intelligence to the most healthy level. The divine soul is the very essence of man which is the same as the goals of science to make everyone as loving and as human as possible.

It is clear that when it comes to wisdom, religion boldly tells you to follow the ways of the wise. Religion wants you to follow the wise path as law! Perhaps the Prophets knew that till humanity can find out and define wisdom, wisdom ways must be enforced by law! And who can blame religion for this?

Mainstream science mostly gave up researching wisdom but has now come around to studying emotional intelligence, which is the scientific term for wisdom. So both science and religion are again seeking the same goal.

The ultimate goals of science and religion are one and the same: the emancipation of man. Religion aims to teach us the truth and science works to uncover reality. Reality and truth are the same entity. At least as far as the mind sciences are concerned both seek the same truth. Religion tries to give man wisdom. Science aims to give man emotional intelligence. At the most advanced level, emotional intelligence and wisdom are one and the same. So the words may be different, but the truth and the reality are the same. Even the paths may be different, but the destination is the same; to give man wisdom/emotional intelligence.

Religion says again and again that the word is the bottom line. The word is the concept/description of truth. Science says it is the idea/phenomena behind the forces of nature that man must define as close to reality as possible. It means both are trying to get to the very nature of truth/reality.

In one word religion wants you to be good and do good, to know and follow the truth. Science wants nothing but the same. They both want man to actualize his full emotional-intelligence/wisdom potential.

The time has come for science and religion to embrace each other and work together as their goals are one and the same.

Religion is way ahead of science when it comes to emotional intelligence. Religion is saying that the aim is to BECOME wisdom while science is trying to TEACH emotional intelligence. Here is the detailed paper on this controversy:

Feds requested to investigate Cuomo’s Justice Center’s handling of sex assaults

Jonathan Carey “Champion for the Disabled” Born September 12,1993 Killed by caregivers on February 15,2007

Gov. Cuomo is seeking review of colleges handling of sex assaults, yet his Justice Center is making most reported sexual assaults of the disabled disappear.

Most reported sexual assault crimes have been purposefully withheld from local authorities by Governor Cuomo’s Justice Center.”

— Michael Carey

DELMAR, NEW YORK, UNITED STATES, May 18, 2017 /EINPresswire.com/ — It was shocking to see this story surface yesterday, knowing that far more sexual assaults and rapes are occurring within New York’s mental health care system than what is happening on college campuses throughout New York State – “Cuomo orders review of college, university sex assault handling” – http://www.timesunion.com/local/article/Cuomo-orders-review-of-college-university-sex-11154654.php

All efforts, to date, to have Governor Cuomo take vital emergency actions to dramatically reduce sexual assaults and rapes of people with disabilities and those struggling with mental illness in State and private residential facilities and group homes continue to be ignored. The most basic measures and tools to reduce such horrific and heinous criminal acts against our most vulnerable are not bothered to be put in place to date, such as surveillance cameras, much better hiring, vetting and oversight practices, as well as immediate reporting to 911, hopefully that will change swiftly. Sex crimes must immediately be reported to 911, not reported and investigated internally, this is a recipe for cover-ups, and that is exactly what is happening most of the time.

Sex crimes cannot continue to be kept from local police, emergency medical personnel and timely criminal investigations with the appropriate evidence collection and retention. These horrific crimes and the evidence of these crimes cannot continue to be kept from County elected District Attorney’s and local courts; this is a gross injustice and almost always protects the offenders and not the victims. Most reported sexual assault crimes have been purposefully withheld from local authorities by Governor Cuomo’s Justice Center. All requests of the Governor and Deputy Secretary of Health Paul Francis to have them immediately cease and desist from this blatant obstruction of justice goes ignored. These illegal practices also clearly deny this specific group of people, people with disabilities, their constitutional equal right to “equal protection of laws. As the Governor looks outwardly, it is time that he finally deals with the massive sexual assaults and cover-ups of most of them within his own mental health agencies that are under his authority and control. I gave you a glimpse into only one of the multiple State agencies that report massive numbers of sexual assaults and rapes internally to Cuomo’s abuse hotline.

Federal authorities have been requested to investigate why most reported sexual assaults of New Yorkers with disabilities living in residential care facilities are rarely reported to local police and County elected District Attorney’s by Governor Cuomo’s Justice Center, which is an obstruction of justice. The question is not if the cover-ups are happening, it’s how many thousands? State documents obtained through the Freedom of Information Law (FOIL) show a distinct and massive problem of rampant sexual abuse of the developmentally disabled. Records reveal that approximately 325 reports of sexual abuse of the developmentally disabled is reported within the New York State Office of People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) system alone every three months or thirteen hundred a year. These are the reported numbers and everyone knows that most of these sex assaults and rapes are never witnessed or reported. According to a well respected document that the State of Massachusetts placed up on their official website titled “Prevalence of Violence” http://www.mass.gov/dppc/abuse-recognize/prevalence-of-violence.html. Almost all these sex crimes against the developmentally disabled will never be reported. A direct quote from this document states that – “Only three percent (3%) of sexual abuse cases involving people with developmental disabilities will ever be reported.” Using the three percent statistic and the 1,300 sexual abuse cases reported annually the possible real numbers are over 40,000 cases annually in a system of 126,000 people with developmental disabilities. These atrocities, which most are absolutely preventable, continue because of the same exact problem Governor Cuomo is trying to bring to light on college campuses, the entire structure of internal reporting and investigating. These sexual assaults and rapes in State and private mental health facilities and group homes, as well as on college campuses, are crimes an obviously must be reported immediately to local police to be immediately criminally investigated.

Tragically, following the award winning New York Times investigative reporting series titled “Abused & Used” http://www.nytimes.com/interactive/nyregion/abused-and-used-series-page.html?_r=0 which was a runner up for a Pulitzer Prize, Governor Cuomo set up an entity to keep almost everything internal and away from local police and County prosecutors. This entity, wrongfully titled the Justice Center, is under great scrutiny right now because of two very damning situations within the last two months alone that have surfaced, the Comptroller DiNapoli Audit and Judge Breslin’s decision. The Comptroller Audit which found that thousands of cases were closed out with no determination. The audit also documents that the Justice Center obstructed the comptroller audit and withheld most documents and records of what they were and were not doing, including information of what was or was not reported to local law enforcement regarding criminal cases. There is only one real reason to hide such information. http://osc.state.ny.us/audits/allaudits/093017/15s61.pdf#search=%20Justice%20Center%20AuditAs reported by News 10, Judge Breslin ruled that Governor Cuomo’s “special prosecutor” is operating unconstitutionally and has no jurisdiction to be handling criminal cases apart from elected prosecutors control http://news10.com/2017/03/30/sex-abuse-charges-dismissed-against-local-teacher/ . This supposed independent “special prosecutor” has been for years and continues to not notify County District Attorney’s of most reported crimes, including sexual assault crimes, reported to them. Governor Cuomo appointed an individual named Patricia Gunning, who is not an elected prosecutor and a State employee, who has a direct conflict of interest, to basically circumvent or bypass County elected District Attorney’s, to primarily hide what is going on in his agencies. Tens of thousands of reported criminal cases, including staggering numbers of criminally negligent deaths and multiple thousands of reported sexual assaults have been kept from local authorities and courts since Governor Cuomo renamed and relocated this State agency following the Time’s “Abused & Used” investigative reporting series. Please read this one piece from this incredible series in which a State employee was caught in the act and still was protected and shielded from prosecution http://www.nytimes.com/2011/03/13/nyregion/13homes.html .
