Pastor Gene Lingerfelt Teaches on Missions

Dr. Gene Lingerfelt

Dr. Gene Lingerfelt

ARLINGTON, TEXAS, USA, December 10, 2018 /EINPresswire.com/ — For more than three decades, Dr. Gene Lingerfelt has traveled the world, visiting many nations, preaching the Good News of the Gospel. Through Faith Christian Center’s various ministries and outreaches, more than 240,000 people have accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, more than $9 million has been given away, and more than 68 churches have been pioneered.

“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” – Matthew 28:19-20

Dr. Gene Lingerfelt and Faith Christian Center support missions work around the world and at home. The call to support missions and missionaries is part of God’s plan to reach the lost with the Good News of the Gospel. As Paul wrote to Timothy, a young man he trained for ministry, God wants all men and women to be saved. (2 Timothy 3:9) But as Paul also asks in Romans 10:14-15, “how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!” Indeed!

The book of Acts not only provides us with the history of the early Church, it also gives us a blueprint for Missions. Before He ascended into heaven, Jesus reminded the disciples that they should continue His work once they received the baptism of the Holy Spirit. They were to then “go into all the world.” They had a mission to share the love of God and the Good News of the Gospel with everyone they came into contact with, carrying the Gospel to the uttermost ends of the earth. At Faith Christian Center, Dr. Gene Lingerfelt often teaches on the Great Commission. Jesus reminds us in Matthew 28, that we are not just to make believers or converts. Jesus actually commanded us to make disciples, teaching them to obey God’s commands. That is the focus and mission of Faith Christian Center in every service, every outreach, and every missions endeavor.

“The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead, he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.” -2 Peter 3:9

Dr. Gene Lingerfelt teaches regularly that everyone who knows the kindness of Christ should share it with others. God wants the world to know about His Son. He has chosen us as individuals and as churches to share the Good News of the Gospel with others.

“God has not just called us to make believers or converts, He has called us to make disciples, teaching them to obey,” explains Dr. Gene Lingerfelt. “God has called us to do that, going into all the world preaching the Good News of the Gospel.”

At Faith Christian Center, we believe that as followers of Christ, we are to share the love and goodness of God with everyone we come into contact with. Every person deserves the opportunity to hear the Gospel at least once! As Paul says in Romans 10:15, “How beautiful–how precious–are the feet of those who bring good news!” Not everyone will accept the Gospel or believe, but as Christians, we must do our part and give everyone the opportunity to hear the Gospel at least once and to make that choice or decision.

Dr. Gene Lingerfelt would love to connect with you and to teach you how to practically apply the Bible to your everyday life. To do that and for more info, click here.

Reverend Donna Andes to be Featured on CUTV News Radio

THOMAS, WEST VIRGINIA, UNITED STATES, December 10, 2018 /EINPresswire.com/ — Donna Andes says that from a very young age, the Lord was always drawing her closer to walk with Him. She was a Franciscan Sister who lived in a convent for 21 years, and they sent her to get a degree in Nursing. She is also a Reverend and Doctor of Philosophy and Theology (whose desire to know the Bible better brought her to Life Christian University.) She has tended to sick and elderly people, as an Operating Room Supervisor and at the Mountaintop Home Health Agency in Thomas, West Virginia. She worked with alcoholics and later as missionary, spending time in Africa and Cuba. There is no such thing as retirement for a Christian, she says, and she will never stop doing the Lord’s Work.

Donna is listed in Who’s Who and received the Elbert Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award. She is also a longtime member of Aglow International (that’s a-glow, as in glowing in His Light) and during the 50 years was president of a local chapter. She wrote her second book I Would Do it All Again, as an autobiography, but notes it is a great reference book for those having difficulties in marriage. A lot of problems, Donna believes, can be solved with God intercepting.

In her radio show Donna wants to talk about why she wrote her first book Know Thy Enemy. She will explain why it is so important to be aware of the spiritual realm around us. All the turmoil in the world can be addressed once we realize there is a devil, where he came from, the influence he has, and he is going around the world seeking whom and what he can devour. She wants to educate people by explaining how God created everything, and how they can improve their life and situation through prayer. This hinges on why she left the convent.

Donna preaches locally, conducts prayer meetings, and writes She is constantly writing to those in leadership positions, from the President to local government leaders. One day a week she answers the hotline for "Hope Marriage Center" through Christ in Action. Besides that, she is a part-time Network Marketer with Life Vantage that specializes in nutrigenomics. That word refers to nutrition and the body's genes to prevent aging and disease. The products are a new discovery and all-natural. The medical community is just catching on to what NRF1 and NRF2 are. The latter upgrades our cells to what they did back when we were born!

Donna wants to share how prayer can change us, our environment and even nations. To do that, she says, we need God's power. It begins when we invite Jesus into our heart, surrender our life to Him, and then ask to receive the fullness of the Holy Spirit. This enables us to pray with God's power and authority.

Don’t miss this inspiring speaker!

CUTV News Radio will feature Reverend Donna Andes in an interview with Doug Llewelyn on Wednesday, Dec 12th at 11:00 am EST.

AMCD Supports the Appointment of Heather Nauert as UN Ambassador

Secretary of State Pompeo observes Hearther Nauert in action (Getty images)

WASHINGTON, DC, USA, December 9, 2018 /EINPresswire.com/ — The American Mideast Coalition for Democracy fully supports President Trump’s pick to replace UN Ambassador Nikki Haley, the intelligent and capable Ms. Heather Nauert.

Ms. Nauert has been a first-rate journalist for many years, working at both Fox News and ABC News and covering a variety of national and international affairs. More recently, Ms. Nauert has proven herself very capable of representing the administration as State Department spokeswoman. In this role, she has worked closely with Secretary Pompeo and earned his trust and confidence as well as that of the President.

“The fact that the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) opposes Nauert’s nomination is proof she is right for the job,” said AMCD co-chair John Hajjar. “CAIR is an arm of the global Muslim Brotherhood operating in the US as a ‘civil rights organization.’ The UAE has designated CAIR a terrorist organization and they have proven links to Hamas. So again, if they are opposed to Nauert’s nomination, that is a good sign.”

”CAIR operatives have repeatedly refused to denounce Hamas and Hezbollah as terrorist groups with American blood on their hands,” stated AMCD vice chair, Hossein Khorram. “Several former CAIR officials have been convicted of various crimes related to jihad terror in the United States and CAIR has opposed every anti-terror measure that has ever been proposed or implemented. Its California chapter actually distributed a poster telling Muslims not to talk to the FBI, and its officials have told Muslims not to cooperate with law enforcement.”

Khorram, himself a Muslim, finds CAIR's silence in condemning terror and not cooperating with FBI totally un-American.

“The Iranian people have endured the implementation of Sharia law by the Islamic Republic, proving it to be a total failure that has brought death and famine to one of the wealthiest countries in the world,” continued Mr. Khorram. “Ms. Nauert comments on Sharia law are based in proven facts that Sharia law is a failure and should never be implemented in any country let alone the United States which is the beacon of democracy in the world – the very antithesis of Sharia Law.”

“Ms. Nauert is well respected in the journalistic community and the diplomatic community in Washington,” added AMCD chair, Tom Harb. “She is poised and unshakable under pressure. We believe she will represent the United States brilliantly at the United Nations.”

“This appointment continues President Trump’s dedication to promoting intelligent and capable women to high-level posts in the administration,” added AMCD Secretary Rebecca Bynum. ‘We applaud this latest example of the administration’s dedication to selection on the basis of talent and merit. Ms. Nauert is a superb choice to fill Ms. Haley’s shoes.”

AMCD lends its full support to this excellent nomination.

This is the first time that my daughter has ever ridden a pony and she was so excited! Winter Wonderland is such a great opportunity for kids to enjoy the magic of Christmas.”

— Guest at Winter Wonderland by CCV

CLEARWATER, FL, US, December 6, 2018 /EINPresswire.com/ — On the 1st of December, the Clearwater Community Volunteers and the Church of Scientology Flag Service Organization launched the Holiday Season with the Grand Opening of Downtown Clearwater’s 26th Annual Winter Wonderland. Over 3,000 guests joined Santa and guest speakers as they plugged in the lights and opened the 3-week holiday village.

Guest speakers Joanne Lentino, Pinellas County School Board, and Neil Brickfield, Pinellas Sheriff's Police Athletic League, acknowledged the Church of Scientology and the Clearwater Community Volunteers (CCV) for supporting children in the community and for putting on the Winter Wonderland.

As the night progressed, streams of people flooded through. Children could be heard at the bouncy house. Families gathered together to take pictures with Santa, ride the Winter Wonderland train, and pet animals at the petting zoo. Floridians from all over Hillsborough and Pinellas Counties came to partake in the holiday cheer. A snow machine filled the air with a flurry of snow flakes, creating an unforgettable atmosphere.

One guest reflected on their experience: “This is the first time that my daughter has ever ridden a pony and she was so excited! Winter Wonderland is such a great opportunity for kids to enjoy the magic of Christmas.”

Winter Wonderland will be open every day from 6pm to 9pm through December 22nd, except on Mondays and Tuesdays. Though admission is free, there is a small charge for some activities and the food items in the Hot Chocolate Shop. It is located on the corner of Drew Street and Fort Harrison Avenue in Clearwater.

For Literacy’s Sake: Winter Wonderland’s Holiday Soiree Brings in Spirit of the Season

Fundraiser for Literacy Programs brings adults to enjoy Clearwater’s Winter Wonderland

As long as children and young men and women find pleasure in study, they will continue studying throughout life – and upon that depends their happiness.”

— L. Ron Hubbard

CLEARWATER, FL, US, December 6, 2018 /EINPresswire.com/ — Raising funds for literacy was on the agenda for Winter Wonderland’s first “Holiday Soiree” on Tuesday the 4th of December. The event was a fundraiser for two charities that support literacy – Clearwater’s Community Learning Center and St. Petersburg’s Bees Learning Inc. Winter Wonderland is produced by the Clearwater Community Volunteers and sponsored by the Church of Scientology Flag Service Organization. Winter Wonderland is located on the corner of North Fort Harrison Ave. and Drew Street in downtown Clearwater.

Activities included visits with Santa, a petting zoo, a wine tasting with Mrs. Claus and heavy hors d’oeuvres created by the award-winning chefs of the Fort Harrison, the Church’s international religious retreat.

“The magic of the holiday season can get lost when you grow up,” said Lisa Mansell of the Church of Scientology. “It can be a stressful time and we wanted to create an event to bring back some of the sparkle to the holidays, while also helping two worthwhile charities give the magic of learning to Pinellas County youth.

“Scientology Founder L. Ron Hubbard was a firm believer in the power of education and once wrote, ‘As long as children and young men and women find pleasure in study, they will continue studying throughout life – and upon that depends their happiness.’ The two charities that we are supporting are giving a gift that lasts a lifetime,” said Mansell.

Winter Wonderland, now in its 26th year, has become a staple for Tampa Bay area families. This free community event opened on December 1st and will continue through to the 22nd of December (Wednesdays to Sundays). Visitors are encouraged to bring non-perishable food or an unwrapped toy to be distributed to area charities that help families in need. There are small costs for some activities, with those funds also going to area charities, providing holiday celebrations for families who may not otherwise have the wherewithal for this time of year.

8th LARGEST U.S. CHARITY ANNOUNCES NEW PRESIDENT FOR TAMPA BAY OFFICE

NATIONAL CHRISTIAN FOUNDATION (NCF) TAMPA BAY PROMOTES RELATIONSHIP MANAGER AND VETERAN MARINE, ANDREW PRILLIMAN, TO LOCAL AFFILIATE OFFICE PRESIDENT

NCF is known for offering some of the most advanced charitable gift planning solutions and expertise in the country. If we can encourage our community to embrace generosity, we can transform our city.”

— Andrew Prilliman, President & CEO of NCF

TAMPA, FL, USA, December 4, 2018 /EINPresswire.com/ — The National Christian Foundation (NCF) Tampa Bay has promoted Executive Vice President, Andrew Prilliman, to President and CEO of the Tampa Bay affiliate office. Mr. Prilliman will continue to serve local families and business owners in implementing innovative, tax efficient gifting solutions in addition to overseeing the organization’s operations in accordance with the vision and mission of NCF’s National headquarters in Atlanta.

Mr. Prilliman says, “While NCF is known for offering some of the most advanced charitable gift planning solutions and expertise in the country (the “HOW” of giving), our real passion is serving our givers and partners in the “WHY” of giving. Why do you give? What are your passions? What organizations are you considering supporting through NCF and WHY? If we can encourage families and business owners in our local communities to embrace generosity, we can transform our cities and the world. I’ve yet to meet an unhappy generous person!”

Prilliman joined NCF Tampa Bay in 2009 and over those 9 years the non-profit has grown from a small community foundation, facilitating around $3.5 Million in annual contributions to an organization that will facilitate over $60 Million in giving in 2018 to impact charitable causes. The local office has surpassed $400 Million in cumulative giving in the Tampa market since their inception in 2005 and is expected to hit $500 Million within the next year. A large portion of this giving has come from gifts of appreciated non-liquid assets – NCF’s expertise.

On a national level NCF has granted out over $10 Billion to charity, has facilitated over $13 Billion in gifts from givers and has supported over 55,000 charities.

Bob Collins, former NCF Tampa Bay President, and current Chief Strategy Officer at the NCF National Office says, “Andrew has excelled as a senior leader of the NCF Tampa Bay team for almost 10 years. We are confident that he will accelerate NCF’s growth and boost the impact of innumerable charities in the Tampa Bay area.”
