Connie Sloneker of Chi Vibrational Healing to be Featured on CUTV News Radio

SHERMAN OAKS, CALIFORNIA, UNITED STATES, March 27, 2019 / — Chi is energy. All things, animate and inanimate, are composed of it and bound by it.

Connie Sloneker is an energy healing practitioner, wellness coach and the founder of Chi Vibrational Healing.

“I’ve studied many different modalities, but I've been really fascinated with the unlimited potential of the human mind I’ve been especially interested in Chinese energy healing: how they advanced they are and how they use energy,” says Connie. “From everything I’ve learned I developed my own style and named it Chi Vibrational Healing.”

After being faced with a serious health challenge herself, Connie began researching and studying alternative methods to regain her own health.

“As a child in Europe when doctors still made house calls, most of them would still use herbs,” recalls Connie. “When I turned 22 years old, I became very ill. We went to the emergency room and they told me I had a tumor on my ovary the size of an orange and I had to have immediate emergency surgery. I could not do that. I had a little boy at home. They told me to sign myself out and come back on Monday.

“I asked the woman who was babysitting my son to go out and find the best book on herbs she could find. We found an herb in there that looked very promising for tumors. I took it and the pain went away almost immediately. On Monday, the doctors told me the tumor had shrunk so much I didn't need surgery anymore.

“That was the beginning of my journey and it ignited my passion for healing.”

Having enjoyed success with her own health issues, Connie turned to assisting family members and friends to help restore their health as well.

“I wasn’t born with a special gift and I am not gifted, however I developed a gift of healing over many years of study and implementation and a passion for helping people to enjoy life again,” says Connie. “Each treatment is different and often it only takes one treatment to achieve the desired result.”

Chi Vibrational treatments transcend time and space. Connie is intuitively guided by the universal intelligence.

“I consider myself a conduit in the treatment process and I tune in by using the amazing power of the subconscious mind and being guided by Spirit,” says Connie. “The way I have been taught, energy cannot be taken away from or added to, energy can only be transformed. And that's what I'm doing in the treatment, I allow energy to flow. The healing comes from a higher power.”

CUTV News Radio will feature Connie Sloneker in an interview with Jim Masters on March 29th at 3pm EDT

Clergy Confessing His Sins in Vatican

Confession at the Vatican

Due to limited interest in statistical data about clergy sex abuse in the Catholic Church, VictimsSpeakDB closed its website on March 19 to focus on its blog.

The Roman Catholic Church can no longer exert its moral authority because it is has become an institution controlled by men who are intrinsically immoral. We are watching its demise in real time.”

— G.R. Pafumi

SPRING VALLEY, NEW YORK, UNITED STATES, March 26, 2019 / — Due to limited interest in statistical data about clergy sex abuse in the Catholic Church, VictimsSpeakDB closed its website on March 19, 2019. It had been available online for more than two years. The website closed when the licenses to the site expired. However, G.R. Pafumi, founder of, plans to maintain the two SACCADAS (Survivor Accounts of Catholic Clergy Abuse, Denial, Accountability and Silence) databases, one covering the victims and the other covering clergy offenders. Mr. Pafumi will continue monitoring clergy abuse and report its results on the VictimsSpeakDB blog.

Mr. Pafumi said, "While I enjoyed doing the research and posting its results on the VictimsSpeakDb website, I found little interest in the data. Legislators and victims' groups seem to be concentrating more on the personal aspects of abuse than a statistical analysis of it. I would think that legislators who are considering expanding the statute of limitation to report sex crimes against children would want to know how long it takes the average person to come forward and report a crime. This is not the case." will make its updated data available to those in need. He can reached at the VictimsSpeakDB blog website. Noted Author Addresses National Problems Related to Teen Use of Marijuana

There are as many Marijuana smokers in the US as there are cigarette smokers. The question is: If you are a Parent or Teen, how does marijuana affect your life?

LENOX, MA, USA, March 26, 2019 / — Fact: As marijuana becomes more popular, less people are drinking alcohol, and more teens are trying weed.

Some experts say the nationalization of marijuana is next, with State discretion. As of today, the use of cannabis for medical purposes is legal in 33 states, plus the territories of Guam, Puerto Rico, the Northern Mariana Islands, and the District of Columbia. Ten states (plus DC and several countries) have legalized recreational marijuana.

The Cannabis Craze: A Practical Guide for Parents and Teens is the first book to address teen marijuana use in a straight-forward and useful manner offering parents and teens options for being “smart” about a controversial subject. Written in short vignettes, The Cannabis Craze neither promotes nor dismisses teen marijuana use. Rather, the book examines ways to navigate the potential dangers and traps of smoking marijuana. Written for Teens who are either considering smoking pot or already smoking and Parents who are wondering what to do and how to cope, The Cannabis Craze is a no-nonsense resource guide focusing on harm-reduction and minimizing risks. The book covers a range of subjects associated with teen marijuana use, from peer pressure and addiction to pot-smoking parents.

The book also tackles a unique truth: statistics have shown “just saying no to drugs” is not effective for most teens. If an adolescent chooses to smoke marijuana, and his or her mind is made-up, it is almost impossible to stop them. If this is true, there is a need for parents and teens to be skillful about the subject. This means, knowing how to dialogue as effectively as possible and keeping the lines of communication open. If we cannot stop our teens from smoking pot, we can at least offer options for being smart: practice making good choices, communicating honestly, and exploring self-knowledge. For Teens, The Cannabis Craze explores a myriad of issues that may be difficult to talk about, like Why Start?,” "Secrets and Lies," and “Who am I?” For parents, the book offers insight into the challenges teens face with marijuana use and what a "good enough" parent looks like.

“A Mental Health Counselor, Aronoff makes it clear from the beginning, that his purpose is neither to promote nor discourage marijuana use. Instead, he offers tips to teens on how to be a ‘smart’ consumer and guidelines for making informed decisions regarding relationships, goals, and personal habits.” School Library Journal

A complimentary copy of “The Cannabis Craze” can be made available for those interested in covering it. Please email us at with your request. The book is available at Amazon and all major bookstores.

Marc Aronoff, MA, is a free-lance writer and Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 25 years experience working with teens and youth at risk. He is Executive Director of The Berkshire Project, Inc. and has published various feature articles in local and national magazines. As a playwright, he is the winner of the 2017 Arts and Letters Competition in Drama.

Maryann Kelly of Intuitive Services Insight™ to be Featured on CUTV News Radio

MULLICA HILL, NEW JERSEY, UNITED STATES, March 26, 2019 / — Maryann Kelly’s evolution as an empowered woman began with a chance complimentary ballroom dance lesson.

“I had spent 33 years in the corporate world and wanted to do something else,” recalls Maryann. “I wasn't going to put off the things I wanted to try any longer because I was always working 80-hour weeks. One of the things I wanted to try was running my own small business as a consultant, leveraging three decades of my experience in multiple areas of expertise. And I also thought I would like to try ballroom dancing.”

What happened next was nothing Maryann could have expected: The more she did ballroom dancing, the more her intuition began to develop.

“I was so used to multi-tasking as a way of life; however, with ballroom dancing, I had to completely commit my full attention and concentrate on each step and suddenly my intuition exploded,” says Maryann.

Once immersed in meetings and metrics, Maryann could now understand how the universal principles of metaphysics, energy, and intuition allow communications with those who have passed over, people or pets.

Maryann made a complete shift to follow her intuition in search of answers. Today, she is the founder of Intuitive Services Insight where she provides mediumship, mentorship and speaking services. To represent the types of services and modalities that are intrinsically linked to intuition, Intuitive Services Insight is a Center of Energy Excellence, COEE, offering services such as Past Life Regressions, Emotional Freedom Tapping (EFT), and Scalar Wave.

“The more I tried to disprove intuition, the more I proved it!” says Maryann. “Ballroom dancing was the catalyst and still is the catalyst. No one would have ever described me as a woo-woo kind of person. And I take the woo-woo and turn it into WOW., it's practical, it's helpful.

Intuition is the language of energy which is all around us. Your intuition is your own personal natural resource just waiting to be used by you for your benefit. Making Intuition Intentional is about empowering yourself and others to act with purpose aligned with positive intentions.

“You have to quiet your brain to let the intuition come and be available and recognized, because I do believe that everyone can access their intuition,” says Maryann. “It takes some practice. For some, it takes an epiphany. I definitely surrendered to the unknown.”

And surrendering to the unknown is what it’s all about. Maryann says empowerment means having the courage to stand in your own truth and surrender to the abilities you possess; that is, surrender to your greatest potential!

“I so enjoy helping people on deeply personal levels and also working with business people on how to leverage their own intuition on the job,” says Maryann. “This work is based on total trust; I have to just trust that the information will come in that moment as it is not generated from me or my brain. Every day is a leap of faith, but I've never been let down.”

CUTV News Radio will feature Maryann Kelly in an interview with Jim Masters on March 28th at 2pm EDT.

History of The Ifa Foundation and The Sacred Gardens

Carried to the Americas by slaves; the 8,000-year-old philosophy of Ifa originated with the Yoruba peoples of West Africa. Ifa's enduring message of strength and inner peace is expanded by the extraordinary, life-long dedication of founders Oluwo Fagbamila (Philip) and world-renowned Iyanifa Olufadeke (Vassa); co-founders of the stunning Ola Olu and the Ifa Foundation International.

In earlier times, an ancient continent known as Pangea began to split apart. Florida remained behind with the rest of North America. Reportedly over 300 million years ago, this land eventually became other continents including Africa, and left behind its' sacred soil, plants, and roots. Humanity, which first appeared in Africa, shares the same soils, plants and roots of our shared descendants inside the "Sacred Gardens." The Native Americans later shared this land, fishing the lakes and growing food there. Many African slaves, fortunate enough to escape–found safety in this land, and married the Native Americans where they became known as “Maroons."

On this fertile land, they performed their rituals for each season, prayed daily to the four-directions, performed birthing ceremonies, and held their tribal meetings and teachings. They honored the land with special rituals before all they did, playing their instruments and drumming, and living in harmony and peace with one another. This land; now "The Sacred Gardens" was not tarnished by man. Instead it was purchased by The Ifa Foundation International, and left untouched; honored and respected, as those who had always lived there reverently treated the land.

When you enter the gates of “The Sacred Gardens” you can tap into a very unique experience. Whether you take the walk in the ancient mathematical system of the labyrinth, or rest your whole body; becoming as one with the stunning forty-foot long figure of Onile–the Earth Mother, you can renew your spirit. You may choose to spend time at "Ela," with a giant stature, to connect by absorbing the empowerment as you relax under her three sets of twelve-foot, sculptive, long arms. Or visit the powerful outdoor shrines and figures of the African deities. You will know you have reached the place where you can open yourself up to trusting yourself and the universe, becoming one with The Sacred Gardens; a historical place with solutions for peace and success in all areas of your life.

Ifa Priest Oluwo Fagbamila (Philip Neimark) states, "As an Oluwo in the Ancient path of Ifa, I have practiced, and studied for five decades. Our relationship with plants is probably the most significant way in which we each can feel the power and beauty of the planet. It is interesting that “plant” and “planet” are so closely connected. From the ancient times; our great, great-grandmothers would grow and harvest the plants which their grandmothers used, and passed on from generation to generation. Yet now, that connection is basically lost. The "root woman" of the past has slowly disappeared. Our Sacred Gardens combines these very three necessary components for energized plants.

1. Ritual Energy: Hundreds of initiations are carried out utilizing the ase' (spiritual energy) of all the individuals who visit Ola Olu; either for enlightenment, or initiation.
2. Divination: The plants and the soil originated in West Africa, and our intent is to always honor and include them.
3. Ancestral Connection: Our departed blood relatives also comprise the third critical factor in connecting with what is possible, and what will do no harm. Our philosophy believes our ancestors are "always" accessible to us.

Ours is a process of awakening the individual to the genuine functioning of the Universe and allowing not only for solutions, but for going forward on our paths in a myriad of ways, without harm to ourselves or others. You may participate on any level, from visitor to initiate. Each and every avenue will reward you with an understanding of how this world used to work–and how it can work again."

Bella Intuitive to be Featured on CUTV News Radio

GILPIN TOWNSHIP, PENNSYLVANIA, UNITED STATES, March 25, 2019 / — Over the course of our lives we are continually questioning our existence and overwhelming curiosity about death. When we lose our loved one where do they really go? Is there life after death? What about questions we have about relationships, jobs, and our health? Where can we go when we are seeking genuine answers?

Bella is an exceptional Psychic, Medium, Empath, Reiki Master and Intuitive Healer.

“In such a chaotic world we desperately need healers and I’m the conduit through Spirit and Angels,” says Bella. “I teach people to meditate, connect with angels, heal themselves from trauma, and ultimately manifest peace in their lives and prove their angels are truly with them at every moment.”

Bella was led to go into healing work from her horrendous ordeal over eighteen years ago when she and her family were victims of a brutal home invasion where she was violently raped by three men. Devastated, Bella found herself spiraling into a dark place of despair. She turned to God questioning Him how can she forgive and move forward? When she started seeing miraculous signs from angels and joined a spiritual group where her life took a positive direction. Uplifted, Bella realized she had the ability to absolutely move forward and help others heal through her own past trauma.

“There is a tremendous amount of anger and fear in the world that I hope to alleviate,” says Bella. “I lived my own harrowing nightmare and I persevered. I never judge or condemn anyone. I am here to soothe your soul.”

During Bella’s sessions when clients seek her out with questions Bella senses the answers intuitively but she does a spread of angel cards so the clients can visualize for themselves. By using a straight white pillar candle and meditating intensely specific Archangels Michael, Rafael, Uriel, Gabriel, Chamuel, or Metatron appear to guide all those in need.

“My clients want connection with their loved ones on the other side,” says Bella. “I capable of being the conduit to let them feel the hug or feeling of communication from the other side. It is utterly life transforming.

Bella was informed by Archangel Uriel her role on earth is The Keeper Of The Light. Keep the light afloat and luminescent during this time of need of earth. Through her connection with the other side, she assures grieving loved one’s eternity is just beyond and all is well and peaceful.

“Peace is what we should bring to this world,” says Bella. “When you see a person who seems troubled, don’t judge them give them a smile to uplift them, buy him or her a cup of coffee and be compassionate. Most likely they will pay it forward.”

Bella feels blessed that during her life she has a wonderful mentor and she hopes all people have that same opportunity. She herself is mentoring a young lady who is very gifted, and feels honored to teach and expand her students mind.

“There are spirits on the other side that will guide you. We all have intuition, it’s just learning how to tap into it!” says Bella. “Go through life with love and peace. Always say please and thank you. Kindness will get you so much more respect and love and make the world a happier place.”

CUTV News Radio will feature Bella in an interview with Doug Lewellyn on Wednesday March 27th at 4 p.m. EST.

Mr. Christopher King, CEO of the Gentlemen’s Course and grandson of legendary blues performer B.B. King, addresses the need for youth to be on the watch for violations of human rights in the headquarters of the Florida chapter of United for Human Rights.

Teaching youth their human rights so that they can become valuable advocates for Peace and Tolerance is at the forefront of the mission of Youth for Human Rights,”

— Cristian Vargas, Executive Director UHR Florida

CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, US, March 22, 2019 / — Clearwater, FL – On March 19th, 2019, thirteen teenagers, ages 11-14 from the Community Learning Center (CLC) learned several of the articles of human rights from the Universal Declaration of Human Rights at the United for Human Rights Florida’s Center in downtown Clearwater. Each youth then pledged to help other youth learn their human rights. The Community Learning Center is a non-profit tutoring organization that provides academic support to children and adults, regardless of income level.

“Teaching youth their human rights so that they can become valuable advocates for Peace and Tolerance is at the forefront of the mission of Youth for Human Rights,” said Cristian Vargas, the Executive Director for United for Human Rights’ Florida Chapter.

This week’s seminar focused on Human Rights #21 The Right to Democracy and #22 Social Security. The kids were very engaged and led a discussion between themselves and the UHR Volunteer for nearly an hour. The students left armed with human rights educational booklets and a new-found inspiration to use their human rights and help spread the word.

“We take on the responsibility of teaching youth all over Pinellas County what their human rights are, said Cristian Vargas. “By working with incredible educational organizations such as the Community Learning Center, we hope to inspire a movement of change amongst the youth in our county. One day, our next generation will live in a world where human rights are respected by everyone; they won’t discriminate, won’t racially profile people nor think differently about someone just because of their faith. That is the world that Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard envisioned when he said, ‘We stand for truth and for human freedom. We stand for greater spiritual freedom and greater human rights.’”

Each month for the past year, CLC has been bringing a class of kids to the UHR Florida center to learn two more of their 30 human rights in a one-hour seminar. Cristian Vargas said that the children not only learn their rights, they understand how to ensure that their rights are not violated. UHR uses Youth for Human Rights educational materials.

For more information about UHR and the seminars held at the UHR Center in downtown Clearwater at 29 N. Fort Harrison Ave., please call 727-467-6960.

Intermountain Caregivers Pioneer Mental Health Support Group for Emergency Staff After Losing One of Their Own

The OASIS program will train nurses and physicians in suicide prevention and will select leaders and peer counselors

We know people are silently struggling with issues both in and out of work, and we want them to know they don’t have to.”

— Adam Balls, MD, chair of the ED at Intermountain Medical Center

SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH, USA, March 22, 2019 / — Doctors, nurses, and caregivers in the Emergency Department at Intermountain Medical Center have created a new mental health peer support system. The OASIS program aims to confront post-traumatic stress disorder type symptoms and other mental trauma caregivers can experience at work. OASIS stands for:

Outreach education
Administrative support
Staff support
Internal/Incident support
Social support for all members of our ED family

Adam Balls, MD, chair of the Emergency Department at Intermountain Medical Center, Gary Brunson, RN, assistant nurse manager, and several colleagues developed the OASIS program after a coworker took his own life in March of 2018. Skyler Gardner had worked in the Emergency Department for several years as a critical care tech lead. Dr. Balls said his death came as a shock to everyone.

“Skyler was loved by many and liked by all,” said Dr. Balls. “He had reached out to some people, but they didn’t know what to do.”

After his death, Skyler’s parents Blake and Wendy started a campaign on suicide prevention called “Love Yourself,” in hopes of getting people the help they need. As a part of the effort they made “Love Yourself” wristbands which ER staff wear and give out to patients in similar situations.

“We’re just overwhelmed to see them getting the word out, and remembering Skyler,” said Wendy. “I really hope telling his story will help others.

Intermountain Healthcare offers free counseling to all employees through the Employee Assistance Program. Dr. Balls said some caregivers may feel uncomfortable talking with a stranger not in their department. OASIS trains specific emergency room staff who caregivers can go to for help. It also trains those staff to look for signs of mental stress in others.

“We know people are silently struggling with issues both in and out of work, and we want them to know they don’t have to,” notes Dr. Balls.

Gary Brunson is the assistant nurse manager of the ED and one of the leaders of the OASIS program. He was good friends with Skyler and didn’t suspect something like this would happen.

Part of the Intermountain effort is acknowledging that caregivers see traumatic things as part of their job. The goal, Brunson notes, is for them to realize it’s okay to be bothered by it and ask for help in dealing with the impact it has on their mental health.

"We deal with some horrific things – we see things that burn images into our brains that we are just unable to ever really clear," said Brunson. "The stigma is that we are just supposed to deal with it."

Nurse Megan Frausto is also helping lead the effort of the new program. As someone who has struggled with mental health, she hopes telling her story will help others.

“The stigma surrounding mental health sadly still exists today,” said Frausto.“I was honored when they asked me to head up this program.”

The OASIS program will train nurses and physicians in suicide prevention and will select leaders and peer counselors.

Organizers hope talking about mental health will show others that it’s okay not to be okay. Dr. Balls said struggling through tough situations doesn’t have to be a part of working in the Emergency Department.

Intermountain Healthcare is a Utah-based not-for-profit system of 23 hospitals, 170 clinics, a Medical Group with some 2,300 employed physicians and advanced care practitioners, a health insurance company called SelectHealth, and other health services. Nonprofit Leaders Furnish Tools for Success at Tampa Bay Charity Coalition Luncheon

Dr. Veronica Walters led a panel discussion with successful non-profit leaders at the March luncheon for the Tampa Bay Charity Coalition.

In putting this coalition together, we wanted to provide a platform for networking and collaboration for the greater Tampa Bay area non-profit community.”

— Dylan Pires, Community Affairs Dir. of the Church of Scientology FSO

CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, US, March 21, 2019 / — Clearwater, FL – On Wednesday, March 20, more than 50 nonprofit representatives gathered in the Crystal Ballroom of the historic Fort Harrison for the Tampa Bay Charity Coalition’s bi-monthly Networking Luncheon. Sponsored by the Church of Scientology Flag Service Organization, the luncheon was highlighted by a panel discussion with four leaders in the non-profit arena.

The panelists represented a broad spectrum of charity types – from Karena Morrison and her Benevolution Foundation; to Pam and Joel Anderson and the Clearwater Community Volunteers; to Neil Brickfield and the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Police Athletic League. The panel was moderated by a thirty-year veteran in the field of education Dr. Veronica Walters.

Questions from the audience included; ‘How do I get my group more well-known?’ ‘How do I fundraise?’ and ‘How do you stay motivated?’ This provoked a very lively discussion with some inspirational answers.

“I spend about 350 hours putting up and taking down Winter Wonderland every year,” said Joel Anderson, who is the Deputy Chairman for the Clearwater Community Volunteers. “Some days are hard – I am taking down the stage by myself because volunteers don’t show or something. Then I remember why I do this. I do all of this so I can see that first kid at Winter Wonderland who sits on Santa’s lap – who would not have any Christmas other than what we have put there. It gets me every time.”

Guests were encouraged to go out and talk to people, face to face, in order to grow their network of potential donors and volunteers.

“I use facebook,” said Karena Morrison, “but the most valuable interaction that I have is face-to-face, talking to people.”

Following the presentation, guests networked and got to know each other better.

Dylan Pires, Community Affairs Director of the Church of Scientology Flag Service Organization said, “In putting this coalition together, we wanted to provide a platform for networking and collaboration for the greater Tampa Bay area non-profit community. Together we can create a safer community and society at large as Humanitarian L. Ron Hubbard once wrote, ‘A community that pulls together can make a better society for all.’”

The next Charity Coalition function will be the on the 15th of May in the Fort Harrison Crystal Ballroom. To attend or for more information about the Charity Coalition please contact Dylan Pires at (727) 467-6860 or
