Tamils Welcome US Base instead of Chinese Base in Northeast Sri Lanka

Tamils in the northeast are expecting for the U.S. to come and help bring about local and global peace, and the future of Tamils in Sri Lanka depend on it.

As long as America promises to protect the Tamils from Sinhalese attacks, oppression, genocide killings, and land grabbing, we Tamils want the American to come northeast for the sake of world peace.”

— Rajkumar

VAVUNIYA, NORTHERN PROVINCE, SRI LANKA, July 11, 2019 /EINPresswire.com/ — A spokesman for Vavuniya Missing People, Mr. Rajkumar said, “We understand the need for the US base in Sri Lanka for many reasons.

“One major reason is to protect the world’s busiest east-west shipping route from Chinese domination. It can bring dangerous uncertainty between India and China. Therefore, the U.S. should have a foothold to protect peace in the southeast Asia.

“The second reason is to stop any ISIS expansion in Sri Lanka. This ISIS is more dangerous than Tsunami and it is a cancer.

“The third reason is to bring peace in Sri Lanka. Sri Lankan behavior can cause war to return to Sri Lanka. The angry and frustrated Tamils with 2 million wealthy Tamils in diaspora, can do anything.”

We know that the Sinhalese will not allow the U.S. to have a base in Sinhalese area. Because of the Sinhala Buddhist mythical Chronicle, Mahavamsa says any foreigner can threaten their Buddhism.

Tamils want to welcome the Americans. Tamils have been the best friends of the Americans since 1800s. When the American missionaries first came to Colombo, the Colonial ruler British and Sinhalese chased the Americans away. But the Tamils in the north welcomed the Americans. Americans built many schools, hospitals, and churches for the Tamils. These institutions are still in Jaffna and other Tamil areas. They played a very influential role in Tamils’ education and culture.

As long as America promises to protect the Tamils from Sinhalese attacks or pogroms, oppression, genocide killings, and land grabbing, we Tamils want the American to come northeast for the sake of world peace.

Since the end of the civil war in Sri Lanka, the country has been vulnerable to the Chinese. China has vowed to keep providing financial help, including loans, to Sri Lanka despite warnings about the island nation’s mounting debt. Sri Lanka in 2017 granted a 99-year lease on a strategic port Hambantota to Beijing because of it could not repay Chinese loans for the $1.4 billion project.

The Chinese controls and owns this Hambantota port. Since China is the owner, nobody knows what is happening in Hambantota. There is report from reliable source that Chinese nuclear submarines are in the Hambantota port for good. It is a threat to India.

Nobody knows what will happen to other ports and other small islands in the north. There is a high probability when the mounting debt increases that Sri Lanka would lease Chinese many more strategical places in the northeast.

The Tamils are willing give the Trincomalee harbor for the US Navy, and the Island of Delft and Alaipiddy to US base.

The Tamils hate the Chinese for their supplying of arms to Sri Lanka during the war. The Chinese weapons were used to kill more that 145,000 Tamils during the end of the war between the Sinhalese and the Tamils.

Tamils believe an American base in North-East will allow for tremendous growth for the Tamils. Tamils will benefit academically, their health industry will improve substantially, and the creation of many Hi-Tech industries will allow the economy will develop rapidly.

The Americans are the reasonable people. They are concerned of human rights, helping poor nations, saving oppressed people from their oppressor. There are many examples of this, but notable recent examples include South Sudan, Bosnia, and East Timor.

Most of the Tamils in the northeast are expecting for the U.S. to come and help bring about local and global peace, and the future of Tamils in Sri Lanka depend on it.

Dr. Ruey Ryburn of Sacred Path Healing School to be Featured on CUTV News Radio

HONOLULU, HAWAII, UNITED STATES, July 11, 2019 /EINPresswire.com/ — Our scientific, technological Western world doesn't prepare people to heal themselves. If you can’t heal yourself, how can you expect to heal others?

Dr. Ruey Ryburn is an energy healer and the founder of Sacred Path Healing School, where she helps people heal themselves physical, mentally, emotionally and spiritually so they can be healers in the ways they choose and are guided to be.

“When you’re deeply connected to sacred energy and open to the divine, then spirit flows,” says Dr. Ryburn. “I'm just the plug that allows all this to happen.”

Dr. Ruey Ryburn had previously been a nursing professor at the University of Hawaii for 18 years when she hit a wall.

“What I was doing was not why I went into nursing, so much pressure and politics,” recalls Dr. Ryburn. “I went into nursing to help people. I finally just got down on my knees and said, ‘God, I'm here. I'll do anything and I'll go anywhere. Just show me what my path is.’ It took a while for that to unfold, but ultimately I became a healer.”

In the process, Dr. Ryburn attended a women's retreat which motivated her to become a yoga practitioner and attend a workshop where she received her first energy healing.

“This wave of purple light was just bombarding me, which I now understand is a huge spiritual opening of the upper chakras,” recalls Dr. Ryburn. “At the time I was just absolutely in tears as it was happening. Of course, my nursing, scientific, bio-medical background was also there to say, ‘What is going on?’ From this experience a time of joy, calmness, peace, and inner light began to take shape and I am deeply grateful.”

After reading Hands of Light by Barbara Brennan, Dr. Ryburn taught at the Brennan School and began a private healing practice. When she retired from the University of Hawaii, she started the Sacred Path Healing School.

The Sacred Path Healing School is a three-year program: the first year concentrates on self-healing; the second and third years continue self-healing while learning how to heal others. The school begins a new three-year class in September.

“The joy of watching students come in with varying ranges of life experiences is so fulfilling to me,” says Dr. Ryburn. “Students enter from many walks of life. Some of our students have had horrendous childhoods and early adulthoods, so watching them heal and go on to help others is an incredible experience, just to be a witness to it. I'm extremely grateful for the journey of it all.”

CUTV News Radio will feature Dr. Ruey Ryburn in an interview with Jim Masters on July 15th at 3pm EDT.

Listen to the show on BlogTalkRadio.

SafeCare Magazine Releases Special Anniversary Edition

Reverend Mark B Safeek

God’s Healthcare

SafeCare 4th Anniversary Edition

God’s Healthcare – The Intersection of Technology & Faith

When we take the time to really think about technology from a biblical point of view, we learn that technology is a God-given gift”

— Reverend Mark B Safeek, The SafeCare Group Board

LEXINGTON, KENTUCKY, USA, July 11, 2019 /EINPresswire.com/ — SafeCare magazine announced today the release of its special fourth anniversary edition taking a deep dive into tech, faith, and God.

"Technology has led to remarkable advances in medicine and has given us the ability to extend physical life to years we couldn’t imagine a century earlier," stated Reverend Mark B. Safeek. "However, the whole person consist of physical, emotional, social, and yes spiritual. Because of the soulless nature of DaVinci robots and other medical technology, caregivers are now looking to medicine's Divine roots for relief."

SafeCare presents a detailed array of articles that delve into the Intersection of Technology and Faith. To explore these issues, there is a riveting interview with Reverend Mark B. Safeek, a retired clergyman and The SafeCare Group founding board member.

Reverend Safeek stated, "Given the immense power for good and the incredible attractiveness of today's dazzling and elegant technologies, technology is attractive because of the God-given allure of the new thing. Slowly, we are developing machines and other things that make up a human’s likeness over time. I guess this is where we are heading after all: The quest to knowing and understanding God. When we take the time to really think about technology from a biblical point of view, we learn that technology is a God-given gift."

SafeCare delves into contempt for religious values in the article Catholic Healthcare – The ACLU’s War On Faith. The article draws attention to the ACLU's legal war on Catholic faith and moral exemptions – often referred to as conscience clauses or faith refusals. Additionally, this edition features others articles discussing topics that cross politics and patient care including Migrant Workers & Healthcare, Healthcare’s Veil of Silence, and Norwegian Integrated Healthcare.

We appreciate our readers and strive to deliver information on the people, ideas, organizations and novel technologies affecting safe, efficient, and quality healthcare to the sector’s most influential leaders. Thus, feedback from subscribers and advertisers alike are welcome, as their input is highly valued.

Networking Event Spotlights Women's Rights at the United for Human Rights Center in Downtown Clearwater

United for Human Rights of Florida regularly hosts seminars to raise awareness of basic human rights.

Women deserve equal rights, dignity and respect. Our center is a safe place where women from all walks of life can share their stories and collaborate to help each other.”

— Cristian Vargas, Executive Director UHR Florida

CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, US, July 10, 2019 /EINPresswire.com/ — On August 10th, the United for Human Rights (UHR) Center, is hosting a networking event to highlight women’s rights and accomplishments. The event is open to the public, free to attend, and will start at 2:00pm at the center, 29 N. Fort Harrison Avenue downtown, Clearwater.

When Megan Rapinoe blasted the soccer ball in to the Netherlands net and then held her arms wide in a cocky stance that defiantly declared victory for America, she represented a new era in women rights. Inequality; the pay gap, discrimination in the work place, the harassment highlighted in #Metoo movement, and countless other issues are no longer being swept under the rug.

“Women deserve equal rights, dignity and respect,” said Cristian Vargas, the Executive Director of United for Human Rights Florida. “Our center is a safe place where women from all walks of life can share their stories and collaborate to help each other.”

A remarkable woman in her own right, Eleanor Roosevelt led the United Nations in writing, adopting and proclaiming the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) in 1948.

Human Right #1 of the UDHR declares, “We are all born free and equal” followed by Human Right #2, “Don’t discriminate”.

United for Human Rights’ monthly Women’s Rights Forum is held in the United for Human Rights Center in downtown Clearwater, Florida every 2nd Saturday of the month. Starting at 2:00pm, women gather to discuss women’s rights issues and to hear from female lawyers, women who have survived human trafficking, leaders of non-profit organizations and a variety of successful women on the subject.

The next forum will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, August 10th, 2019. All are welcome and light refreshments will be served.

For more information, please call or text 727-265-7479; email cristian@humanrights.com; or visit the UHR Facebook page: @UHRFlorida

HONOLULU, HAWAII, UNITED STATES, July 8, 2019 /EINPresswire.com/ — If you're one of the estimated 3 billion people from the 7.7 billion population who inhabit the earth, you had to pray, watch, and wait as a tragic fire swept through Notre-Dame Cathedral of Paris on April 15 for two whole days until the fire was finally stopped and the iconic Catholic church was saved from destruction.

You're still curious about the possible meanings of Notre-Dame of Paris herself, known as Our Lady in English, and what is happening now to the iconic 850 year-old church. This is the same sacred Notre-Dame Cathedral that has a strange and surprising leading, if not controversial, role in John Griswald's hard-hitting epic novel of love and war,"Girl From Rue Serpente," that is set in Paris during the Allied Liberation from the Nazi Occupation in World War II.

As it turned out, the tragic fire marks the biggest news event of the year thus far and all the buzz that goes with it. And you're more curious than ever to know more about Our Lady of Notre-Dame. Reading "Girl From Rue Serpente" will deliver an outstanding entertainment experience to your life as the tragic love triangle is revealed between a beautiful young French Resistance fighter who wants to become a nun, a handsome but lonely American soldier who fights for love and a threatening and lusting priest at Notre-Dame.

It should be pointed out now that a new controversy is brewing. Catholics and Protestants alike should heed the developments happening in the book's gutsy plot. Such happenings as a seduction comes to pass in the choir loft, a teenage suicide takes place in the church's rest room, and the sale of pornographic pictures happens on the property. In addition, the surreal nightmare by one of the lovers also is a dramatic highlight of the novel.

However, much of the buzz about John Griswald's enthralling novel "Girl From Rue Serpente" is also caused by the book's haunting cover artwork which captures the spirit and mysticism of the epic and tragic love story. Brazilian Artist Ricardo Movits' 24" x 36" oil painting masterpiece depicts the turning point in the novel when one of the lovers has a surreal nightmare taking place inside the sacred walls of Notre-Dame Cathedral of Paris. These three events — the recent fire at Notre-Dame, the book cover artwork and the developing controversy — have combined to spark a new twist in the book's ascent into becoming a world-wide verified best-seller and eventually a intriguing dramatic movie.

With these facts in mind, you can view and order the book "Girl From Rue Serpente" at www.amazon.com, www.barnesandnoble.com and www.walmart.com. Four haunting videos known as "Girl From Rue Serpente" are listed at www.youtube.com as book trailers. Additionally, some booksellers are allowing visitors online free viewing of chapters from "Girl From Rue Serpente" including the book's publisher i-Universe.

Set in romantic Paris during the Allied Liberation from Hitler's Nazi Occupation, the heavy-duty war story of "Girl From Rue Serpente" focuses on two star-crossed lovers. Aimee Ange is a beautiful young French Resistance fighter who wants to become a nun at Notre-Dame and Christian Gavin, a handsome but lonely American soldier who wants to experience life first hand. The two of them are led to a chilling confrontation with a lusting priest from Notre Dame named Father Cariot, who seeks salvation in Heaven for some and damnation in Hell for others. Here, then, is the ultimate hard-hitting tale of ill-fated love from a world that's torn apart. Here, then, is this generation's "Hunchback of Notre-Dame," Victor Hugo's nearly two hundred year-old novel, long associated with the cathedral. And finally, here, then, is also the stuff that makes the timeless epic love and war story like "Girl From Rue Serpente" into a great future motion picture.

Speaking of motion pictures, since World War II, many international movie audiences have shown that movies
about World War II are in high demand. Many films, in fact, have gone onto be Oscar winners. Casablanca, Raiders of the Lost Ark, The Manchurian Candidate, Schindler's List, From Here to Eternity, Saving Private Ryan, Allied, Inglorious Bastards, Charade and South Pacific are some notable favorite films.
